Saint Michael's Agreement
- (1992)Concluded on 28 September 1992 (the eve of the feast day of the saint), the Saint Michael's Agreement contained provisions by which Belgium became a full-fledged federal state. The powers of the regional governments were expanded and regional parliaments were henceforth to be directly elected.See also Federalization.
